Closure of MJ Hudson Law
20 April 2023
The law firm trading as MJ Hudson, MJ Hudson Limited and/or MJ Hudson Law (“MJH Law”) has ceased to operate, closed without a successor practice.
What does this mean for clients?
MJH Law is no longer providing legal advice, so if you were a client you will need to find other solicitors to advise you on future matters.
You can find a solicitor by searching here: http://solicitors.lawsociety.org.uk or call The Law Society on 020 7320 5650 Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00.
All matters that were live immediately before closure have been completed or moved to a new law firm/solicitor. However, if you believe your live file was overlooked, please contact Law.data@mjhudson.com to access your file.
What has happened to client files?
MJH Law stored all client files and documents electronically, and these have been archived and retained by the MJ Hudson Group. MJH law did not store any physical client files or documents.
If you require access to your file, please contact Law.data@mjhudson.com. You may be asked to confirm your identity and/or provide evidence that you have authority to act on behalf of the registered client (or, if two or more people are named as joint clients, that all such persons agree to your proposed course of action). If you wish your file to be sent to a new solicitor, please include the contact details of your new solicitor.
It won’t cost you anything to have your documents sent to you or your new solicitor, and we will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as practicable.
Client money
At closure of MJH Law, no client monies were held.
