MJ Hudson | Law announces today that it has been shortlisted in two categories for the 2018 PEI Awards: Law firm of the year in EMEA (fund formation) and Law firm of the year in EMEA (transactions).
2018 has been a strong year for MJ Hudson | Law, advising numerous managers on fund formations and transactions and picking up wins and commendations at the Lawyer Awards and the Drawdown awards.
Law Firm of the Year – Fund Formation
The firm has provided legal counsel to 23 fund formations over the course of 2018, often providing integrated investor services, in support.

Law Firm of the Year – Transactions
MJ Hudson’s M&A team has acted and advised on a wide variety of deals this year, including recently advising a minority investor on the sale of its interests, as part of the £559 million sale of the Wagamama restaurant chain.

The PEI Awards remain the only honours in the industry decided solely by individuals in the industry, who vote in their thousands every year.
