Meet Ben

Ben’s thinking

Ben is an Associate in the Research team. His role includes quantitative analysis and reporting for manager selection, portfolio monitoring and investment and operational due diligence with a focus on alternative investments, including hedge funds and private markets funds. He is also involved in the transition management of pension funds and insurers providing advice and monitoring for clients undergoing portfolio restructuring. Ben joined MJ Hudson in April 2017 and was promoted to Associate in June 2019.

Matthew is an active networker in the alternative assets industries and a frequent speaker at conferences and workshops. He has been a judge of the Private Equity Africa Awards since their inception.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences, University of Cambridge

Interests

Ben enjoys skiing, cycling, theatre and cinema.
