Charlene heads up the Group’s People & wellbeing function. Charlene was the first employee of the Group, joining Matthew Hudson as an Associate (Solicitor) to launch the Group in 2010. Charlene’s focus is ensuring that the People and wellbeing function provides the optimal environment for colleagues to deliver excellent service to clients.
Experience
Charlene qualified as a solicitor into the corporate and commercial department of the London office of O’Melveny & Myers in 2007. She has also worked in-house at a London-based software company.

Interests
Charlene is the mother of two young boys which keeps her rather busy outside of the office. She has a keen interest in general wellbeing – both physically and mentally, using nutrition, exercise and alternative therapies as a means of minimising stress in an attempt to remain healthy.
Charlene has previously been a volunteer for the Law Society of England and Wales (which included training given by the Samaritans), helping law students, trainees and other lawyers with a wide range of personal and work related issues. She has previously been a volunteer of PACT (Prison Advice and Care Trust) through Hudson’s Heroes, supporting prisoners, people with convictions and their families.
