Maria Palazzi-Nieves

Maria joined MJ Hudson’s Quantitative solutions team in January 2022 as a Data Analyst.

Maria primarily focuses on the maintenance of existing code and implementation of new functionalities, exploratory analyses on client's data to enhance risk reporting, presenting at conferences and events on financial risk topics, and preparation of research papers for journal publication.

Experience

After finishing her Doctoral studies in 2020, Maria worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya before joining MJ Hudson. Her research covered a variety of topics going from computation social science (e.g., user behavior modeling in online social media), and human and urban ecology, to dynamical processes on complex networks.

Interests

Maria enjoys dancing, doing yoga, and exercising at the gym.
