Pieter van Dijke

Pieter is a Principal in the ESG & sustainability team. He helps a range of clients to improve the ESG performance of the assets they manage, and provides support in determining a strategic direction when considering the topic of sustainability.

Experience

Prior to joining MJ Hudson, Pieter spent several years in Sydney, Australia, working as a Consultant for Kearney. Before that, he worked as Adviser to the executive board of the Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam.

Qualifications

BA in Social Sciences, University College Utrecht

MSc in Regulatory Economics, the University Utrecht

MSc in International Relations, University of Amsterdam

Recent client work

• helped a private family office outline a responsible investment strategy and drawing up a baseline ESG score of its entire portfolio by assessing and rating investments in a range of different asset classes on their sustainability impact and performance
• assessing portfolio companies on key ESG impacts and risks and together with company management identify strategic opportunities for value creation

Interests

Outside of work, Pieter loves to cook, read, and travel, preferably in the company of his wife and baby daughter.
