Meet Shannon
Shannon Hon is an Associate in the Investment advisory team, having joined MJ Hudson in February 2022.
Her role covers investment research, manager selection, investment, and operational due diligence of alternative investments, including private markets (private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and real estate), hedge funds and alternative risk premia.
Experience
Prior to joining MJ Hudson, Shannon worked as a Senior Associate at Ping An of China Asset Management (Hong Kong), covering across a broad range of asset classes and strategies, including private markets products and cross-border strategies between Hong Kong and mainland China. Prior to that, Shannon worked as a Private Equity Manager at China Tonghai Asset Management, focusing on private equity investment, fund of funds, and discretionary mandates management.

- BEng in Medical Engineering, University of Hong Kong
- MoF in Finance, Tsinghua University

Interests
Shannon enjoys sporting activities such as hiking, badminton, and volleyball. Shannon also likes charity work, including the 100km Trailwalker fundraising race.
