Interview with Kaye Wiggins: The press and private equity

We interview Kaye Wiggins, Private Capital Correspondent at the Financial Times, to learn more about:

• Private equity’s relationship with the media and the public

• The coverage PE receives

• What it's like to cover the industry as a journalist.

Our special thanks to Kaye for joining us and for agreeing to have the tables turned as the one who answers the questions, rather than the one who asks. We appreciate your frank and honest answers to the many questions raised by our busiest virtual floor to date.

Kaye is the Financial Times’ private capital correspondent, and part of the team behind the FT’s premium corporate finance briefing, Due Diligence. Before joining the FT last year, she was a reporter at Bloomberg News, most recently covering litigation and white-collar crime. She has an MA in Financial Journalism from City, University of London and a BA in Modern History from Oxford University.
