Kjartan has spent his last 20 years focusing on the technology sector as a founder, advisor, Board member and investor. Concentric was founded in 2013 by Kjartan Rist and Denis Shafranik - European Activist Venture Investors for the past 20 years. The fund has offices in London and Copenhagen and invests across the major Northern and Western European tech hubs. Concentric invests into software-driven technology businesses that are solving «real problems» and automating traditional economy sectors such as financial services, mobility, real estate, logistics, industrials, retail etc.
Prior to Concentric, Kjartan co-founded the venture fund DN Capital and the merchant bank Korral Partners. In his career to date he has been instrumental in 100+ transactions as a Principal.
Kjartan graduated from University of Bath and earnt an MBA from Imperial College London.
