Corporate governance is a very important aspect of any business. But as businesses grow and the demands on the leadership of a company shifts, it can become increasingly difficult to maintain governance by ensuring that the Companies House notification requirements and the stipulations in a company’s governing articles are being met. Yet, falling short of the obligations highlighted by the Company’s Act can lead to serious consequences for companies, such as large fines, possible criminal proceedings or companies being struck off and assets frozen.
MJ Hudson’s Corporate Company Secretarial (Co-Sec) Services can assist private England and Wales, and Scotland-based companies by alleviating the compliance burden that may come with the Companies House reporting obligations, setting up a company or having an operational registered postal address in the UK. Our services can be tailored to suit the company’s demands, allowing you to focus on driving the business to reach its goals. This may include:
- company formation
- maintenance of the company’s statutory registers

- organising the company’s board meetings and producing minutes for event changes
- completing share allotments, transfers and disposals on behalf of shareholders
- appointment of directors (depending on jurisdiction)
- registered office in England or Scotland and mail forwarding
- acting as a process agent in the UK
