MJ Hudson is an entrepreneurial place serving entrepreneurial people and I enjoy working here, very much. The firm is very good at making you feel part of the family and fostering your career development, something I have experienced, first hand. Joining as a paralegal, in 2014, I was interested in being in an environment where I could very quickly make my mark. I’m now a senior associate and it has been amazing to witness (and contribute to, in my own way) the growth of the practice and, indeed, the wider firm.

From a very early stage, I was given a lot more responsibility than perhaps I might have expected at a more traditional firm, and the team is very non-hierarchical – we always treat each other as equals and always make time for each other.

Everything has a personal flavour to it and no two days are the same. Each project offers something new and intriguing to consider, and I have got to meet and work with enormously talented people – clients, lawyers, colleagues in the wider group – with very different experiences and approaches. Ultimately, what makes MJ Hudson stand out, is the opportunity to make a real difference, both as an individual and as part of a team, a team which is both very driven and yet always supportive.
